The version of Firefox that comes with Knoppix 5.01 has a lot of advanced features-- like an icon that allows one to see image pixel sizes. I find however that it basically gives me illegible (okay, just plain ugly) text all the time. Switching the default text settings just seems to mess up certain web pages.
In contrast, other distros (SUSE, for ex) come with a much more legible experience with Firefox right off the ground.
Can anyone offer any help. Somehow I suspect it's as much a setting in KDE. TIA.
