knoppix on pentiumII "klamath" gives apic erroers

i have an intergraph td-225 with 196 mb dimm ram and a pentium II mmx (klamath) running at 255 mh. when i boot knoppix v9.3 it seems to hang . when i ran knoppix debug mode it showed me an apic error . i even tried running failsafe mode but it still hangs!!!!!!!!!!!! :? :cry:

This may seem like an obvious question, but have you tried the noapic cheat code?

yes i tried noapic and i tried acpi the next boot.i even tried failsafe.please help. :x :evil:
