Hai i am using Knoppix for some 10 days now. But there seems to be a problem with Knoppix.
It automatically detects my Net configuration on startUp, But only Konqueror works.
No other application including Firefox , Opera or Apt are able to connect to the Internet.
I have a direct connection, i guess it is dynamic. I am not sure though. ( it is an MTNL Broadband connection, i am located in India & MTNL is a Telephone Company which provides its Broadband thru telephone wire and a Modem).
How can i configure Knoppix or these applications to connect to the Net. Does anybody Know?
Moreover , does anybody Know how to make windows transparent like Vista in KDE? I saw such window in a screenshot of Gentoo Linux.
