I have the Knoppix 5.02 ISO on CD and I've tried booting it onto my computer. It seems to be working fine until it gets to something like "hot-plug detections," "udev" (?). When it gets to this part in the booting process my computer simply freezes. I've tried booting with acpi=off, and I've tried failsafe mode, but nothing seems to work. Please help!
