Hi, I have Auditor installed to the HD of my Inspiron 2200 and recently downloaded freenet.
When I try to connect to localhost port 8888 it tells me it is refused, i'm assuming this is a firewall/default setting.
One would expect to find these settings under K Menu > Settings > KDE Control Settings > Internet & Network. Nothing is there.
Try google "terminal command to open port for Knoppix, Debian or Linux". Nope, nothing.
It took me about five minutes to figure out how to add a program and allow it TCP/UDP port access under MS XP. I like Knoppix, linux would be huge if it wasn't so anti-intuitive.
Does anyone know how to open a port??? Can it be this difficult?
