CD WRITING USING KNOPPIX LIVE CD

i have a knoppix live CD (version 5.0.1). i do not want to install knoppix onto my hard disk. i came to know that K3B is a CD-writer software that can be used to burn CDs. is it possible to burn CDs after booting from the live CD? if yes, then please give detailed instructions on how to burn CDs using the CD-writing software on the knoppix live CD.

Do you have multiple optical drives? Do you have enough memory to boot Knoppix using the toram option? If no to both I suggest finding a smaller Live CD such as DSL to do your burning.
