Depth Question.

I installed Knoppix 5.0.1 to HD with Depth of 16. Now wish to change it to 24. I changed all xorg.conf.* files for screen section with default dept 24. Still not helping. Also looked at Debian How To's but couldn't figure it out.

How can I change Depth to 24 ?

Please assist. Thank You.
