I have installed Knoppix 5.0 in QEMU using beginner option (with hw detection). When i plug in my pendrive first and then boot knoppix hd installation it finds the pendrive and mounts it automatically. However when i plug the pendrive once knoppix is fully loaded, it does not mount it. Just says USB Mass Storage Support Registered but no /dev/sd[x].
I think the problem is with qemu cause when i tried it using the Live CD boot the pen drive was detected easily. Normally in other types of Linux my pendrive is found as sda5. Infact when i plug it before booting linux, it is mounted as sda5. Any qemu usb setting I am unaware of?
