and I mean those that fit right in your palm and do not need extra power cables. They get their data and power feed from the same cable and weighing less than 3 ounces

What is your experience using them with knoppix?

I specifically need to know their actual transfer rates and how friendly they are to being formatted using different fs such as fat32, ext2, ext3 and reiserfs
.
I am a little aprehensive of these things, because they are USB animals and I have noticed for some reason knoppix handles better firewire connections
.
Also, I think it would be "good for business" and for knoppix if they keep an open "tried-and-true" HAL for people to enter their experience trying different type of hardware
.
So, what type of [mini|micro] drives you got and how was it?
