New Knoppix user needs help

Just installed Knoppix and have done an apt-get update and get the following problems:

Problem #1

Reading package lists... Error!
E: Dynamic MMap ran out of room
E: Error occured while processing raptor-utils (NewVersion1)
E: Problem with MergeList /var/lib/apt/lists/ftp.de.debian.org_pub_debian_dists_testing_main_bi nary-i386_Packages
E: The package lists or status file could not be parsed or opened

Problem #2

Trying to configure wireless network card using kwifimanager & netcardconfig

When I try to run kwifimanager I get

'Command not found'
