Is there going to be a fix for the Knoppix DVD that shipped with Linux User a couple moths ago? It hangs up when launching Xwindows, and gets stuck at the grey screen or gray screen. Which is not really grey but like a pattern of messed up graphics.
Knoppix CD 4.0.1 didn't have that problem.
Any suggestions?
I've done some research and someone thought maybe Xwindows wasn't properly recognizing LCD monitors and/or graphic cards that have DVI output. Which is kinda odd, since my CD with 4.0.1 works fine.
