I'm trying to setup a demo/test system using Knoppix 5.01. The system is a Dell PowerEdge 1650. I've turned off the local hard drives in the BIOS, and have installed a QLA2200 1Gb FC card to attach to our SAN. It seems to recognize the card, but when the driver loads, we get the following messages in dmesg:

Qlogic Fibre Channel HBA Driver
ACPI: PCI Interrupt 0000:03:08.0[A] -> GSI 20 (level, low) -> IRG 16
qla2xxx 0000:03:08.0: Found an ISP2200, irq 16, iobase 0xf886a000
qla2xxx 0000:03:08.0: Configuring PCI space...
qla2xxx 0000:03:08.0: Configure NVRAM parameters...
qla2xxx 0000:03:08.0: Verifying loaded RISC code...
qla2xxx 0000:03:08.0: Firmware image unavailable.
qla2xxx 0000:03:08.0: Failed to initialize adapter

Any ideas? Is there a way to manually load the driver with modprobe after boot time that might work around this?
