Hi All,
I'm planning to use Knoppix Live CD on a laptop on a regular basis. As the hard disk interface is flaky, I'm not going to depend on HD.
Upon booting from the Knoppix Live CD (it's from late 2005) on a CD-RW disk (& drive), can the configuration data and/or user files be saved to blank space on the same CD-RW? What if it's a DVD-RW or DVD-RAM?
I'd also like to know whether the Knoppix Live CD ISO image will work if burnt on a mini-DVD-RW/RAM (using Nero 6 Ultra under Windows). In this case, there'd be about 700 MB or so left on the disk. Can Knoppix write to that part?
Any replies and/or pointers welcome. Thanks.
ps. I have read that the configuration can be saved to floppy/flash.
