View Full Version : wireless pci card problem?

i'm not that familiar with systems other than windows....so if someone can help me i would appreciate it....i installed ubuntu but it didnt install my wireless card...the driver on the cd that i have is for windows...can i use this driver? if not then how do i go about installing a driver if i download one? i'm using a belkin 802.11g wireless pci card (the driver on cd is rt2500). are there any other drivers that could run my card...help!

Welcome, but this forum is about Knoppix not Ubuntu. If you need help with Ubuntu you should check out www.ubuntuforums.org.

And no you can't use the windows driver in Linux. Linux has reasonable support for wireless cards, so keep trying.
