simple guide to dual boot installation of knoppix

Hi, Im relatively new to all this and require a simple laymens terms guide to installation for a dual boot with XPpro.

I partitioned the C: HDD with 2 partitions, 1 is 116gb and has already had XPpro installed to it, the other is 4gb but I cant seem to access it from the boot options when Xp starts up.

I need to know what to do and how to do it.

Also, I have Knoppix on CD, but was wondering if it was worth downloading teh DVD version??

How do I get it from the CD/DVD to the second partition on C: without something like partition magic if possible??

A guide to Installing Knoppix is on the wiki:

Once you have run
knoppix-installer

and completed the install, you will have the choice of installing the linux bootloader, grub.
Install this onto the mbr of your hard drive and next reboot you will have a choice of booting knoppix or XP.

You cant use XP to boot knoppix, it cannot read reiser, ext3 or other linux filesystems.HTH
