Problem with Etherape on Knoppix 5.1

Ok, I'm trying Knoppix 5.1 and noticed after installing Etherape that it didn't work the same as in other forms of Knoppix and Linux? Instead of just typing "Etherape" in the command line I had to use arguments. I tried several combinations of things in the man page like:


etherape -m ath0 -i ip

Which looked plenty sufficient for me, but it did not run, or did not display anything? Anyone got any tips?

Nevermind, I was root in the command line but I found I had to run as root from the K-menu.
