[help sooon]knoppix 5.1 problem

hey i get a blank screen with the logo on the left corner just after a second or two after the knoppix live cd boots.please help me.i have p3 1000HZ asus motherboard.

Thats not very much information to go on...

The logo in the left corner... (Tux Im guessing)... does it appear correctly? or garbled in some way?

If correctly I would say your CD did not burn correctly. Please reburn at the LOWEST SPEED POSSIBLE. Also check the iso you downloaded and make sure its MD5 hash matches..... See the "Downloading and Burning FAQ".. if everything looks ok try adding the nodma cheatcode.

The MD5 hash for the English CD version should be: 379e2f9712834c8cef3efa6912f30755
And the Enlgish DVD Version should be: e967af32cc5b9e7a91825877b65555a8


if garbled.... try adding the vga=normal or nofb cheatcode.


Without more information about your system thats all I can think of :)
