Side Image Questions

In KDE's Configure Panel --> Menus --> Show Side Image (checked) this makes the Knoppix image appear in the main menu, or disappear if unchecked.

Does anyone know in what folder this image is located?

Are there customized images out there in Linux land that could be used as an alternative replacement?

I would like to use a different custom image.
