I'm having some dvd problems and I'm a newbie so bear with me...I recently did a hd install of knoppix (debian) and am having problems with xine dvd player...i can get audio cd's to work just fine but when I try and play a dvd I get the following error:
the source cannot be read. Maybe you don't have enough rights for this, or source doesn't contain data. Error reading NAV packet.
I'm not too sure where to start trouble shooting so I thought I would post. I've tried running xine as root to see if it was a permissions problem...and I checked the config file but wasn't sure what to be looking for...xine does read the dvd that I put in but when it starts to play it I get the error... using xine-ui 0.9.21
