Does Knoppix have a utility for partitioning or repartitioning existing hard drives?

Do you appreciate the command line?
root@box:/home/max# apropos "partition table"

Hi all,
I'm the dummiest of the dummies in linux. Here is my question:
I resized the windows partition but qtparted hangs at 100% (!) (0/2 tasks done) after clicking commit. What's going wrong?
Does it have to do with the notification that partitions have to be unmounted before proceeding? how do I check/do that? They shouldn't appear in the window?
Thanks
Carlos

you missed the parts about
- start your own thread
- do not play with NTFS partitions under linux
- stf
apart from that, i find qtparted likes to play up and not quite do it all the time
so i pop up one of the sheels and use cfdisk to do a little bit then go back to qtparted to finish
