Sound

Sorry another question,

I have a USB Headset and no real sound card (Just motherboard integrated) and knoppix has some sound issues, it detects sound when I use programs like Gaim and Media player, but when i go on the internet with iceweasel it wont pick up sound

Ideas or suggestions?

Its most likely the sites you are viewing require a plugin, post the URL's you are having trouble with, someone will verify and tell you which plugins you require.

I'll soon be having Knoppix has my primary OS. I"m getting a 3rd Hard Drive for a persistent home,

reason i'm switching is that vista has a compatibility rating equal to knoppix, and i love knoppix a heck of a lot more than vista. so just using a few emulation programs solves the issues with my games. i got plenty of ram to sacrifice
