Yet another booting issue thread :)

alright guys, i just downloaded V5.1.1 knoppix and burnt it at the lowest speed possible. i boot up with the CD, then i hit "Enter" to boot in linux.

it will go through that screen with all the colored writing, then when that finishes, the screen will turn black. some lady's voice says "initiating starting sequence" or something like that. cant remember exactally. but the screen just stays black.

any suggestions?

ps i have an nvidia 7600gt vid. card

i tried re-downloading and re-buring the linux 5.1.1 iso..still have the same problem :(

Try the cheatcode "knoppix xmodule=vesa" to see if that helps. It's probably a driver issue with your graphics adaptor if it works.
