Boot process stoped on "Scaning USB/Fireware devaces..."

Devices:
Motherboard: ASUS M2R32-MPV
RAM: 2048 MB
Video: Intel Express ATI Radion Sapphire 1950GT

You may need to try using a cheat code while booting the disk. Here is a link to the documentation: http://www.knoppix.net/wiki/Cheat_Codes

One cheatcode that you can try to eliminate several items at once would be the failsafe cheatcode. There is an explanation in the link above. If it works, you can then try each individual cheatcode listed in the description, one at a time, to see which item is in conflict.

I believe your motherboard is the M2R32-MVP and would be an AMD chipset. The hardware may not be supported well in Knoppix yet. It might have better support in a future version, or you might try another distro that might be a bit more up to date.
