Knoppix 5.1.1 Issue (blank screen) when switching video mode

Knoppix 5.1.1 live cd (spanish)
have Issue (blank screen) when switching video mode after interfase detection. and video mode parameters stablished by Xfree

***THE SAME HARDWARE WORKS OK WITH Knoppix live cd version 4.0.2 (spanish)***


Hardware:
-Video board: nVidia GF 7300LE pci express
-Mother board: MSI K9N Diamond, nVidia chipset
-AMD Athlon 64X2 4200+, AM2
-2 GB DDR2 RAM

Testing and failure description:
-Knoppix 5.1.1 live cd integrity test showed no checksum errors
-Tried booting from other cd units also

-Monitors tested:
a - Viewsonic Optiquest series Q191wb
-Problem: Blank screen, switched to standby.
-Tests with forced sync and resolution... same result

b- Monitor AOC spectrum vn:
- Tested with: -Knoppix default
- vsync=75Hz, Hsync=48Khz, screen=1024x768.
-Same problem blank screen, Monitor switched to stand by (yelow led on)

c- Monitor HEY- Hyundai DeluxScan v770... same result

As mentionned: -video works fine with Knoppix live cd 4.0.2 on the same hardware described...


-Same copy of Knoppix 5.1.1 live cd works well on: Intel 845+PentiumIV 2.40+1GB ram+ Ati Radeon 64 vivo (7200) + HEY Hyundai DeluxScan v770 CRT monitor

Knoppix xmodule=vesa works with the mentioned hardware on 1024x768, 800x600, 640x480.
It's not the case with wide screen resolution wxga of 1440x900, hsync=55.47, vsync=59.90 with Optiquest Q191wb
