Audigy soundcard

Hi iam new to the area of linux and i would like some help.Recently i installed knoopix in the hard drive of my PC. everything seem to work all ight apart from the sound. I do have a Creative audigy. Could u help please?

Have you check to make sure you are a member of the audio group ( in a console window groups) when you used the CD did sound work? Did you use alsa from CD for sound if so then in a root console . /etc/init.d/alsa-autoconfig.

Also there are drivers for linux on Creative's website.
