booting from cd

hey

I am a new user of knoppix, i tried it on my aol athlon k7 500 mhz and it worked ourra

now i am triing to boot it on a diffrent computer (girlfriend) and it doesn't work pentium 2,2 mhz asus mother board dvd-burner nothing to special.

i have modified the bios to boot from dvd and it triing to start but after a few minute it's saying that it cannot boot the system.

i am trying knoppisx becaus i scred up are window xp restore so i am hopping i can recover so file

any help is appreciated

As much as I'd like to help you, I don't believe you.
At least I myself has never seen any failed Knoppix boot saying "I cannot boot the system".

Hint: You might have more success with your posts, when you become more talkative, and mainly more detailed.
