How to do device driver programming on Knoppix?

Hi friends.....

I am not able to do the device driver programming on knoppix because i am getting error as 'No such file or directory in the /lib/modules/2.6.19/build' .......

Its probably because you dont have the kernel source and/or kernel headers installed. Use aptitude, apt-get or synaptic to install the missing
headers then try again.
