Hello,

I am currently using Knoppix (HDD Installation) Current Version Released, i believe V5.* ,

The Following Items are Being Used:

D-LINK DI-524 Wireless router
Onboard (Mother Board) Network Card (Named eth0)

Up until today, i was using DHCP for my networking, as my router does it, and does a pretty good job at it.... The PC with Knoppix on it has ethernet, and is not using wireless.

The Current error is:

"Could not enable the interface eth0"
"Check that the settings are correct for this network and that the computer is correctly connected to it."

Their are other PC's connected to this router.

Windows XP Home (Wireless)
Windows Vista (Cabled)

Edit: when using static, i cant get past the routers interface (192.168.0.1)

Please help,

Thanks in advance,
