problems with pen drive

when i m trying to copy some folders from my hard disk to my pen drive it gives me an error and the transfer is stoppin.
i use knoppel 0.6 and it boots from cd
from the other side i can copy from the pen drive to my hard disk
please help me if u have any idea about my problem

Knoppel 0.6 is slighsly outdated from knoppix 5.1.1. You have earlier versions of the kernel, KDE and evrything else.
What error message are you getting?

Have you tried copying from the terminal?
