Hi,
~
I am trying to change my monitor's resolution to 1024x768. THis is the command line with which I am starting knoppix:
~
Kernel command line: ramdisk_size=100000 init=/etc/init lang=us apm=power-off vga=791 initrd=minirt.gz nomce loglevel=0 quiet BOOT_IMAGE=knoppix BOOT_IMAGE=linux init 2 bootfrom=/dev/hda2/knpx_5.1.1.iso scren=1024x768 dma acpi=off noapic
~
monitor still looks the same.
~
The particular box is an old IBM NetVista with 1 Gb of RAM
~
The sections of this box' dmesg output that relate to the video card are:
~
EISA bus registered
~
Console: colour VGA+ 80x60 (which is startup video option '6')
~
Boot video device is 0000:00:02.0
~
Linux agpgart interface v0.101 (c) Dave Jones
agpgart: Detected an Intel 845G Chipset.
agpgart: Detected 892K stolen memory.
agpgart: AGP aperture is 128M @ 0x88000000
~
How could I change my monitor's resolution?
~
Thanks
