Hi

This mail is kind of off-topic since the system I am trying to make work is DSL. But for some reason I can't get write permission to the DSL forum and sins DSL is derived from KNOPPIX i try to give my question a change in this forum.

Basically I have the same problem as this guy.
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=98077

And I am trying to follow the solution that he is coming with.

# modprobe --ignore-install snd-opl3sa2 port=0x120 dma1=0 dma2=1 irq=5 wss_port=0x530 fm_port=-1 midi_port=-1 isapnp=0

The --ignore-install does not seam to work in dsl I toke something else autoclean I think it was. I get

modprobe: can't locate module

Ok I fond the driver file with "find" in /lib/modules/2.2somthing/something/etc so I know it is there or thou the name is snd-opl3sa2.o but what can I do to make it work with modprobe?

Thank
Mikkel
