Hello all, I am one frustrated knoppix newbie today.. and well.. this whole week.

My hdd went on my old HP notebook, so now I am running knoppix and a flash drive, which is working great, i love it, but i am having just a little bit of trouble getting my Belkin 7050b wireless adapter to work. I figured out the chipset, got the drivers, used ndiswrapper, checked to make sure the driver is installed and cooperating with the device (which it is), but something seems to still be amis. The little blinking LED on my wireless card does not come on, and if whenever i try to configure anything it just says "no wireless card found." what the hell? I'm sure there must be a sudo-simple cure for my frustration which i am just failing to see. once again, the adapter is dected by knoppix, the driver is installed and cooperating, but the power for the card just isn't coming on. Thanks!
