Getting into GParted loop...help!

Hi Folks, fairly new to Knoppix/Linux and trying to install to 10G HD on old Toshiba Tecra. Runs fine on live CD and followed partition instructions for bootable 9G ext2 primary/1G non-bootable linux swap. But get into loop when I try to install to HD with error message saying I need '0GB partition and at leat 128 MB swap'. No way out of loop as it takes me striaght back to Gparted, to re-partition the HD

Please, any ideas what's wrong..
