How to set limited access to a FTP user ?

Hi guys,

I'm setting up a FTP server on Knoppix, then create an user, let's say user1 (and it's home directory will be "/home/user1")

Now, I want if any client do FTP connection to my server under user1 login CAN ONLY browse its home directory "/home/user1" and it's sub directories (eg. /home/etc/Desktop ...)

but CAN NOT browse or see any it's parent directory (eg. "/home " or "/" or "/etc" ...)

I did a lot of research but still cant find any solutions.

Any ideas would be appreciated.
