Ok i got windows xp running atm, and here are my stats.
D-link WBR-1310 router
SpeedTouch Home DSL modem.
Connected from internet jack, to modem from dsl to router from router ethernet to computer..
Ok windows xp workes fine i got gateway and Lan highspeed one.
When i run knoppix in VMWARE Workstation. It auto connects because im still on xp it shows 2 computers and when i set it up i set it as bridged connection.
When i boot it, i dont no how to bridge it and it wont connect............ Same problem with ubuntu........
Also i tried netcardconfig, and it says nor connects from DCHP or somthing like that. but yeahh. Thanks please replysoon
