I used Record Now Basic 7 to burn the KNOPPIX_V6.0.1CD-2009-02-08-EN.iso to a CD-RW disc.

This went well. However, now I am left with a non-bootable image.

I ruled out the method of changing the BIOS boot sequence on my Toshiba Satellite M45 laptop
which is a dual boot Windowx XP Home and Mandriva 2009 configuration.

I haven't dealt with the ins and outs of CD's and ISO's, etc. for some time.

My first guess is that the Version of Record Now is not capable of creating a bootable ISO.

Second, there must be an easier way.

Please advise.

Thanks.

did you read the FAQ? you do NOT put the image on a disc, you move the ISO image to the disk, this is done by burning as image.
