mount ext hdd(ufs2) - detects only first partition

hi there

i'm trying to boot my external harddisk with ufs2 filesystem (freebsd 7)
Knoppix 6.0.1 (running live-cd mode) detects only the first partition (/dev/sdb1)

even loading ufs (modprobe ufs) and reconnecting the drive doesn't help

Knoppix 5.1.1 detected themwithout any problem as /dev/sdb5../dev/sdb9 but Knoppix 5.1.1 didn't work with my soundcard, wireless, ... (no drivers)

any ideas how to mount the other partitions with knoppix 6.0.1 running in live-cd mode?
