Hi I've used Knoppix live cd since version 5 however this version seems to crash whever I try to close an open text window. The mouse pointer freezes and nothing works. I'm using version 6.2 English. It is a slow machine by today's standards with only 512mB of ram.
Knoppix now seems to have lots of graphical features. Someone obviously took a lot of effort developing them, but is there any way of turning them off.
Also after startup and when closing down I can hear speaking (I may be mad but not that mad!) I initially made the mistake of downloading the Adriane version but this is the normal version. (KNOPPIX_V6.2CD-2009-11-18-EN.iso)
