There's a MILLION articles on writing an ISO using Windows and Windows products.
How do you write an ISO using an earlier Knoppix LiveCd? Help by educating me or sending me a link that's helpful . Thanks

uhm, there is a program called k3B (KIIIB) that is something like Nero, try that.
or if you wish you can use commandline or a number of other tools, usually just click on the iso and K3B starts.
all you want is here

and here
http://www.linuxquestions.org/linux/answers/LQ_ISO/Burning_ISOs_in_Linux_K3B
just to name how it can be done in command line (the hard way).
sudo drecord -v -eject speed=4 dev=your drive /home/knoppix/your.iso
the exact drive and path is for you to know/find out, usually by doing.
sudo cdrecord -scanbus
