A couple newbie Adriane Questions

I just downloaded both the latest cd and dvd versions of Knoppix. I notice that the CD starts with the screenreader by default. However, I just hear the "starting initiation sequence" on the DVD and no screenreader. How do I get the screenreader to work on the DVD. I am a blind user so hopefully it won't be too daunting a task. Thanks. :?

The Knoppix DVD boots into Knoppix by default.

To boot into the screen reader it is necessary to give the following cheat code when booting:

adriane

You can do this during the boot process by typing adriane at the boot prompt or by selecting adriane from the boot list of options.

A better way would be to create a modified DVD whereby the isolinux.cfg file in the /boot/isolinux directory is changed.

All that is necessary is to change one line at the top of the file.

Change
DEFAULT knoppix
to
DEFAULT adriane

If you ever make a poor man's install one could also change the boot configuration file to add the necessary cheat code to the default option.
