I have seen several posts on this topic, but none of them have been solved. It's not a big deal, but having full use of my touchpad would be nice.

I have a Toshiba Satellite A135 S2276. Th lspci listing is:

Try starting a terminal window and then

sudo su -
passwd
:D Krishna
p.s. AFAIK there's no "tapping" to click the left button, but otherwise the pad should work as in Windows.
