Moveing files to flash memory

I am useing live cd i haven;t got HDD , i downloaded a audioboock that i need for school and i want to copy it to my MP3 Player but each tie i try to do that it apears a notice like "COULD NOT WRITE TO/MEDIA/SDA/... "

Could you tell me what should i do to copy my downloads to my MP3 Mediaplayer?

It depends on the mp3 player. I have an obscure one (the "mp5", made in China, I think) that can be seen ONLY with Knoppix (not on our Mac nor our Windows boxes.) I believe it is a kernel-level compatibility issue, so probably not something you can fix. Perhaps there is another distro that has that capability.
