knoppix on intel based macbook

I've been trying to boot from a knoppix cd in my macbook pro, but the system doesn't recognize it as a boot disk. Is there any solution for this?

The most likely cause is a bad burn on the disk. Try burning again, using the slowest speed, and turn on the after-burn verification option if possible.

loadix, did you boot the macbook with the c button held (before the startup noise)? If not, the system will ignore the cd and boot from the hard drive.
