Audacity

Hi all, been using 6.7.1 for some time and decided to go to the cd distro. I installed Audacity from the extras but it won't run. So I un-installed and re-installed using Synaptic, but still no luck. Any ideas? Thanks...........

There was a thread Audacity not running in 6.7.1, also Kompozer (http://knoppix.net/forum/threads/29615-Audacity-not-running-in-6.7.1-also-Kompozer) some time ago. Trying to run audacity from the terminal could be helpful because you should see some error message.
