XMMS problem

I'm posting from inside knoppix!!!! :lol: But I cant get to XMMS to play mp3's off the hard drive or stream them off the net any suggestions of whats wrong or what to do please reply. Thnx

Does it say there is not any output device? OSS related message?
Try disabling the aRTS sound server from KDE control panel. Good luck!
