hi there

I twould like to have this configuration on my usb key :

- sdc1 (first partition) : Fat32 or Ntfs (so that MS Windows can see it)
- sdc2 (second partition) : live Knoppix 7.0.4

With the knoppix usb creator tool, the entire key is used for the live usb.

I tried many different solutions (like create 2nd partition after installation of Knoppix, then copy knoppix to the second partition... or using the "dd=if" command) but none worked :(

Any help would be appreciated ;)
thx
Vincent

You don't need to do so. Windows can see and use the remainig space of the USB-stick.

If you for example use a 16GB stick with Knoppix DVD flash installation and 4GB persistent memory you'll have about 8GB you can use with Windows. But don't delete ldlinux.sys, /boot/ and /KNOPPIX/.
