I've got Knoppix/Debian working on my works network AOK, but can't find the Knoppix entry on the KDE pull up menu. It 'escaped' during installation onto the HD.

The KDE Printing Manager is great under Knoppix but under Debian 'Add' printer doesn't exist!

HELP! What do I do next? Where do I go to instal via 'SMB' at network printer?

There are (at least) two ways to do this.

Open the KDE control center.
Go to Peripherals
Go to Printers
Right click anywhere in the upper pane of the Printer window.
Choose Add Printer.
You should be able to take it from there.

The second way is much shorter. The printer wizard isn't gone from your system, just from your k menu. To run it just type "kaddprinterwizard" from a shell or in the dialog box you get when you press Alt + F2.

Hope that helps.
