I seak a very fast search program

I SEAK A VERY FAST SEARCH PROGRAM for knoppix with EVENTUALLY a graphic frontend while search processing files and directories.
This seems (IS ?!) necessary now for hard drives with very high capacity.
I did not found anything about in the forum except one case not looking for "FAST...".
