Hi,
I'm trying to get a couple micro's to boot w/existing LiveUSB overlay, so data can survive a re-boot. The problem points to the older desktop PC, where I need to copy the LiveUSB to HD (tohd) and then a 'fromhd', inorder to reliable boot the LiveUSB. It appears that Knoppix only looks at the hard drive for the overlay, which exists on the LiveUSB thumb drive.

Q: Is there a way to get Knoppix to load the LiveUSB overlay, using a 'fromhd' cheatcode?

Within the init-script of minirt.gz the routine "mountdata()" seeks for the overlay. Perhaps you like to rewrite this routine :-)
