I downloaded what was said English version named KNOPPIX_V7.2.0DVD-2013-06-16-EN. Since my Thinkpad x230 laptop has no DVD drive, I use Universal USB Installer from pendrivelinux to install Knoppix to my 16gb usb. So Knoppix booted just fine but in German. I restarted and type "knoppix lang=us keyboard=us " then hit enter. Knoppix rebooted then stop at boot command prompt again. I did nothing for a few second, It booted but in German again. Someone suggested that i can change language once Knoppix opened by clicking on the German flag on the lower left corner of my screen. but i didn't see any flag there. What is your suggestion for a solution? Thank you.

Use the cheatcodes (http://knoppix.net/wiki/Cheat_Codes#More_explanations)

I restarted and type "knoppix lang=us keyboard=us " then hit enter. Knoppix rebooted then stop at boot command prompt again.Where did you type the commands? If using the cheatcodes Knoppix doesn't reboot.

To have the cheatcodes permanent you can do as described at Micro remastering (http://knoppix.net/wiki/Cheat_Codes#Micro-Remastering). Have a look where this line is within your pendrivelinux installer.

Works! found and replaced all "lang=de" to "lang=us" in syslnx64.cfg. Thanks Werner.
